This blog is about what I learned in my computer class at Curtis High School.

Blogs of Interest
In the hoping of having a great blog, I've researched some blogs on the Internet and came up with two good looking blogs to get some ideas and inspiration from.
One of them is: Classe Touriste, which is a blog dedicated to traveling. What I liked the most about the site is that the bloggers go to hard-to-reach areas like Antarctica and North Korea and then take spectacular looking photographs and share them with the rest of the world that haven't gotten the chance to experience or view them themselves. The site has beautiful pictures and they have different sections for each part of the world. Their blog literally helps transport whoever is viewing it to a whole new world.
Another blog I've been looking towards to as a way to improve my own blog is: A List Apart, which is a blog that teaches about web designing. The blogs covers the whole spectrum of web design topics and even places a special emphasis on the best practices and web standards. This blog can help tremendously, because one of the topics of web designing is creating a blog and what better way to learn to have the perfect blog than learning it from a blog itself that's devoted to teaching that topic?
What I Learned About Blogs
In the one week that I've been learning and focusing on blogs, I've learned many things about them. For instance, a blog requires your full responsibility and it takes a while before it can grow into something with a lot of views and likes. You have to work hard on it, making sure everything from the font to the pictures is perfect. The subject you are writing abut though, does not have to be perfect, because those are your thoughts and your opinions and what anyone else thinks about what you're writing does not matter enough for you to change what you want to write about. But, most importantly, I learned that having a blog is not as easy as it seems and I know that now.

What is a Blog?
I have not had a blog before today, but I do know a few things about having one. A blog happens to be a personal website on which you are able to write about your own thoughts, opinions, likes, dislikes, your goals, your planes, your whole life story; you could add links to other sites, and etc. on a regular basis.
I know that everyone is capable of having a blog, but not everyone might have a popular or most viewed one. For that, you'd have to work hard, always be on top of your posts, and make it a entertaining and useful blog. The font has to agree with the background, the pictures and videos have to be appropriate, the animations fun and the overall blog creative. And then little by little, your blog will end up being on the best and at the top of the list.

Having a blog isn't easy, it takes time and energy. You can't just have a blog and then forget abut it. It's something that needs to be updated daily or weekly, not monthly or yearly. But, the more you do it, the easier it becomes to find interesting topics and things to write about. And I'm sure, I'll be able to do the same.
